Never heard of this crap until i just received a letter stating a surcharge of 130.00 needs to be paid or my license will be suspended. WTF. Apparently our wonderful local government thought this would be a good idea and passed it. Guess what its funding? Toll way anyone?

ive never been involved in politics but Im thinking i might just start getting involved. or maybe ill just sell my car and be done with all this bullshit.

yes...this was passed about two years ago silently.
It's a way to tack on extra fines to people who let their license lapse, or have an arrest for DWI, public intox, open container, illegal substances etc.
