This groupbuy is now closed. Wheels will be here around mid June. Extra's were ordered so they will be in stock.

there's a set in Satin black and Hyper Silver in stock today, available for purchase outside of the groupbuy.

Guess that means it is time to buy some tires.

I've suffered with the RFTs long enough.

I'm leaning towards the V12 'Kooks, probably in 235/40, 255/35. As much as I'd like to get 245s up front, I don't think I have the strut clearance with my coilovers.

I just test fit my fronts...those 245's might not work for me. I raised my coilovers 5 turns and they still rub a little over bumps. I can't get over how aggressive they look on the car though! Pictures don't do these things justice!

Looks like they have been rubbing pretty hard.

245/40 or 245/35?
What coilovers are you running?
Camber plates? If so, how much camber?

lol, my scarred up, bent up, chipped up fenders are the result of beating them up a lot over 2 years. I'm running the KW v1's and no camber plates. The alignment is set as negative as it will go without camber plates. The tires are 245/40 so PRETTY aggressive for my car as it stands.

I didn't notice the fender. I was looking at the wear on the side of the tire.

I'm running 2 degrees with Cross Coilovers. I'd like to try the 245s, but I think I'm going to have to run a spacer to clear the strut.

245/40/18 is too tall for the front. We never recommend that size. We also recommend camber plates for anything over 225.

We recommend that, as it's the only way to cut down on all or most rubbing tire brand/model dependent. Obviously many people are willing to deal with some rubbing, and that's up to the owner to decide if they want to run something more extreme.

The correct 245's to run are 245/35/18. There is no performance advantage to the 40 sidewall as they cause numerous clearance issues.

What coilovers do you have? You may have told me before but I get asked often about fitment questions so I can forget.

holy moly guys, 245 will absolutely rub with these wheels if you do not have camber plates. at least slap on the dinan plates to get something. 245/40 i agree is too tall. you have to get a 35 series tire. Thats the only reason I went to 255/35 because most dont sell a 245/35. hankooks run fairly narrow, you will probly get away with a 245/35 at 2 degrees or less. I have seen 245's on at 1.5 degrees camber at an autocross. The boston autocross group has a lot of experience with this wheel, if you have any questions, drop by the new england section and we would be glad to help.
