It better come downunder. The launch will coincide nicely with my return to Melbourne.

I can't see why it wouldn't. We get every M car they make at the moment and it's been confirmed by a few dealerships I've been in contact with.

Yup, I think I am the first who paid up on the coast. I have been trying to get them to accept one for months, but they didn't let me until an official confirmation - which is today.

Pete said it's definitely coming - but if not, I guess I will have to take it back or choose another car.

As it will come probably late 2011, I might want a MY12 build though...

Definitely not keep the 135i - had an engine light the other day... looks like the HPFP is going.

If they use the N54 that's chipped a little, then one would think the HPFP problem would still exist in the M Coupe.

When I saw the video and the new pics, I was VERY excited. But I just feel like we will be disappointed because they can't make this faster than the M3.

I have to reconsider if they just put in a N54. A basic TT N55 will get it over the line.

My guess is probably around 30-40k premium over the 135i - which makes it 100-110k base (135 = 70k base) That also means on road around 130k-140k.

That basically filled the void that was left when M3 moves to 160k base.

Certainly cannot see myself paying 130K-140k for it. You can get a really good M3 for that sort of money.

Cool - I'm going to stalk you until 2012 so that I can take your car for a joyride before you take delivery

lol, I didn't take yours remember?

Now, it's just going to work out how I can make extra $300k (150k each for me and my wife) in 18months to get an approval from my wife!

Tried that for years - it doesn't work If I didn't get there, I will just have to say the value of the business has gone up at least that much
I would be pretty shitty anyway, if it didn't in 18months too!

Wheels mag and a few other sources have said it'll be a N55 with twin turbos (same garrett turbos in the X5M etc). I'll be very keen if that's the case as I'm already liking the N55 more than the N54 in stock form

That's what had been suggested/implied by Scott. But we won't know for sure until it happens.
