How to lift car without damaging black box Jacking points

Could any please post pictures of a safe auto lift that does not damage the black box plastic jacking points of the E90. (Please post pictures of a close up )

Some auto sites don't have special auto lifts and they damage the black plastic jacking points of the E90.

I have found this information about how to correctly lift up a BMW without damaging the black plastic jacking points.

But I am sure that some auto lifts have a special lift that enters perfectly inside that plastic jacking points.

Sorry, but I am confused, do you mean lifts for private/domestic use, or commercial lifts.

FYI I just purchased the BMW jack set - beautifull pice, comes with pre-torqued torque wrench and gloves

, reasonably priced ($250 Cdn).

I would like to go to a comercial auto lift where they don't damage the plastic jacking points.

Do you know if they use a special tool to not damage the jacking points.

Also it could be nice that you post pictures of your BMW jack.

Here is a close-up picture of the jack point on the E90. I took picture of the front and rear. Both jack point look the same front and back. Can we remove these and just place our jack at the same point ?.Sorry I dont have any picture of E90 on a commercial jack system.

I've kinda wondered about this myself when I take my car in to get winter wheels put on. There's been talk here before about these jack points and I don't want my car getting fubar'd

I would love to post pictures but Ahem, I do not have a digital camera-I know that I am somewhat dating myself...no one is perfect

My brother in law does have one however, and I plan on getting together with him soon to take some pictures of my car - I will post the jack pictures as well at that time.

Also do you know how in a BMW dealer they lift up the car, where do they place the lift.

Your pictures of an E46 NOT an E90.
