Burger tuning has a very good reputation..

I would say it is as easy as they say. In your case, i would have there information translated so that you understand everything that they say in there faq's..

good luck

Before attempting this change - have you driven a 1er with the paddles, for an extended time? Mine came with the paddles, so didn't have a choice. Since they are attached to the steering wheel instead of the steering column, they move with the wheel. When you are making sharp turns, when your hands have to leave the 10-2 position, the paddles are no longer where your hands are. It is almost impossible to upshift in this situation, because you don't know where the paddles are located.
If you have driven a manual before, using the shifter to make the shifts has a more natural feel.
Just my opinion :-)

I understand but my car before was a smart roadster coupé brabus with the paddle and I like to drive with!!!
Sometime like you say it difficult to upshift and sometime you do the opposite or what you want to do!.
I found this looks like soprtcar :-)))

It's really easy, My father had an E46 with step that they were able to toss an M3 wheel and paddles on, no problem. I guess the whole thing is actualy pre-wired for it. So go for it!

But get the SMG style.
