Hi,

Can anyone please advice me on how to get a good launch on an auto.

135i (n54) running approx 380bhp - what kind of times should I be looking to achieve?

I had a 335Xi / Steptronic, best results is to brake boost around 2k rpms, I pulled tons of 1.9 60' , I know I was awd, but even many auto 335i / Rwd guys pulled 1.9 60' too in Autos using same method. This is hard on the car, so just hold it briefly once staged. From there just mash gas/let off brake , aim straight w/ auto pretty relaxing/consistent let the car do the shifting. Start off in manual 1st gear.

Did you have the DCT completely off ?
