Anybody looking at going to this? I've already registered, my buddy and my dad are also going. There's a discount for bmwcca members too!

I signed up...reading through it, it says to use whatever your street setup as what's recommended. It goes rain or shine and I'd imagine they'll resched if it snows or ices. I'm can't wait to get back on the track...stupid winter needs to pass!

Come join us at the Tarheel & Toe High Performance Driver School [HPDS] for a wonderful opportunity to experience the Full Course at Virginia International Raceway [VIR]. Learn more about VIR at www.VIRclub.com. Learn more about Tarheel Chapter BMW CCA Driver Schools at www.tarheelbmwcca.org

Registration for STUDENTS opens to current Tarheel BMW CCA members on January 5 at 8:00 PM Eastern Standard Time. HPDS cost $385.00 Sat./Sun for CCA members and $430.00 for non-members. Only Instructor Training School [ITS] students who have passed the Driver Skills Evaluation and who have been invited by the ITS coordinator may register for Friday.

Registration for INSTRUCTORS opens January 5th at 8:00 PM and will not close until staffing is completed. Note that we cannot confirm students until we have sufficient staff so please let us know early that you will be available to Instruct. Friday cost for instructors working Sat/Sun is $120.00; Invited also are ITS candidates who have passed the driver skills portion of their training to become new Instructors. Not included are Instructors not available to instruct the weekend or Advanced students not yet in the ITS program. Sat/Sun there is no charge for working instructors.

In response to popular demand the Annual Tarheel Banquet will be held in Danville in conjunction with this event:

Saturday Evening February 26, 2011
6:00-10:00 PM
Institute Conference Center in Danville
Cash Bar and Dinner-Buffet

There will be a guest speaker and great door prizes
Cost will be $35.00 per person and Track Attire is perfect for this Banquet
More details can be found on www.tarheelbmwcca.org
Location and directions can be found at www.ialr.org

Banquet Registration is available on this form during HPDS registration.

Please, reserve your room at VIR or Sleep Inn Hotel which is our School's headquarter. For a substantial discount request the "Tarheel BMW" block of rooms.

^ slick as in slippery? Blacktop is not very smooth. Lots of imperfections and worst of all minimum runoffs. High speed turns take balls of steel. I've already planned my track schedule. Mix bag of scca, nasa & bmw club events. hope to see some of you on my home track this year
