I've been admiring the great detailing work from everyone here - some really spectacular jobs. I'm curious what kind of cost is typical for some of these balls-to-the-wall detailing jobs I've seen on here. I'm not asking for any specific quotes or in the immediate market to hire someone, just an average ballpark range. Feel free to PM, if that seems more appropriate.

When I was in the market for a basic exterior detail (wash,clay,1 polish, seal), I got quotes for as low as $180 to as high as $500. The typical price I got was $250-300.

It really depends on so many factors. I would say $200-$500 average.
