E93 Front Sway Bar Install & Pics (56k Death) DIY...
I just installed my E93 Front Sway Bar, which I received VERY FAST from Dan at United BMW. Had the advantage of using a lift again (thanks *#@% Dealership!). Anyway, due to sway coming so early I wasn't prepared with my Nikon, so had to take pix with my iphone. Install was pretty straight forward.
Overall results were noticeable. Turns feel much more flat, no more "swaying". E93 Parts Getting Set-up Removing the Million Bolts Un-Mounting the Brackets Get out of There! OEM vs. E93. Not much visible difference. Lightweight Mod Gently Now... Snap-On! Ready to Mount Can I Drive it Yet? Re-attaching to Sway Arms Righty Tighty Almost There... Finished!

I believe this bar is an OEM M3 part, E93 is a 3 series convertible.

Nevermind... a bit of search goes a long way... end links are torqued to 31 ft-lbs.

Yes it was installed at a dealership, but my friend works there and we took it there during off hours to access the lifts. Charge? Zip... Its about who you know!

The sway bar is not hollow. It's actually pretty heavy.
Specs: E82 = 26.5mm with 19mm pinch E92 = 26.5mm with zero pinch E93 = 28.0mm with 26.5mm pinch I highly recommend it. |
