I made it to about 40,000 miles before the dreaded failure. No problems since.

Horsepower is a safety feature (and so are crumple zones, apparently)

I'm at 53K miles with no pump or power delivery issues.

Ive made it a habbit to do a WOT pull to 85 everyday I drive the car. A car is like a person, if they don't exercise they get flabby and slow

LOL! Don't know about that analogy, but I can dig it.

2008 39k, original fuel pump, no issues, though I knock on wood each time I say this.

dude you like blind?

but seriously, i'm at like 35K in 2.5 years. if I wasn't living in a city away from my car for a sizeable portion of that time, i'd easily be up to 60-70K. Car runs great, but then again I'm low mileage compared to some of these guys..
