I think I have a better chance of finding the Holy Grail than this car.
I want to buy it locally and there are none available. Iím very discouraged to say the least.

Chris,

I wanted to let you know that we have a 1 Series M sitting on our showroom floor to see. Please let me know if you'd like to stop by and see it.

Senior Client Advisor

I told him I'd be by Friday morning.
If this is the same VO I saw last weekend I think it belongs to a customer who is out of the country. Had a big yellow "SOLD" tag on it. Darrell is a good guy, though, and happily took my deposit this week for an AW. Delivery will probably be Dec. or January, by which time I will probably have the shakes from waiting...

Anyone else have any leads on potential allocations? I've called just about every dealership that had potential and still no luck.

Cars.com has 3 listed, including 2 just added this weekend ...

Well, you can forget all that. The new car is fitted with a turbocharged straight six. Turbocharging? In an M car? Thatís like putting gravy on an ice cream.

The VO in AZ is in production (not actually on the lot) and is already sold. The CA mentioned it was a formality to post availability on their site for tracking the VINs. This was the last of their allocation.
