I'm trying to decide between the PIAAs 4800K and the Lux V4. Would you be able to post a comparison shot? Also, what are the AEs in your signature photo? |

If anyone is interested I'm willing to sell my PIAA Precious White bulbs. I used them for two months but decided to go back to the LEDs. They work great and there is absolutely no worry about adaptive headlight failures. If you're local to CT I can install too no problemo!

Just installed my 4800k PIAAs! This pic was the most accurate to my eye. Started w pax side. Had to remove cover completely. Difficult to reattach. I just kept attacking it from different angles and finally the bottom lined up. Once aligned, metal clips snapped on easily. Drivers side cover stayed in place, but I had to remove the tyco electronics box and my hands did get some scratches. I'm satisfied with brightness and color match. It will look much better with the yellow running lights coded off. Alex at AlpineMSS will be getting a call soon.

Now that I have the awesome precious white bulbs in, does anyone know what bulb type is used for the "turning lights", and if there is one that comes in a similar whiteness? I'm not sure exactly how to refer to these bulbs, but they're the ones that come on when you turn one way or another, or when you back up. They look very easy to replace (there's a little access door on the top of each light.
