I had posted that it would not surprise me to find BMW discontinuing "other" Performance parts as time goes on. Dackel

Reflashed my TCU again... from Alpina B3 to US Sport (ZF 7601494). Did not have a chance to test it much but confirmed the D mode is back to "normal" and S mode still shows corresponding gear (S1, S2 etc.).

My front bumper's a little chewed from the previous owner. That looks like a pretty good deal. But then I'll want the side skirts. Which work better with the rear bumper. Plus the front bumper requires the new cold air ducts. If I'm doing that, I may as well get the Performance Cooling Kit, and PPK2. (PE is a given.) Oops. $600 for a bumper or $3000 for a redesign? Oh yeah, plus paint. Quite the rabbit hole, but how sweet it would be at the end... |

Paid the $15 duty/custom/tax fee for importing my Schiedmann LCI Blackline tail lights.
Did not know I was going to be hit with that.

New rear A/S 3's and alignment. Backs were bald (only in the center which the guy said was typical) at 13K miles. Fronts look pretty good, prob will get 20K out of them.

I've worn through countless sets of tires on several BMWs with fresh RTABs and alignments. The wear is always concentrated on the inner shoulders, which makes sense given the negative camber BMW calls for in their alignment spec. |

I drove it to the mall to pick up my PS4 Darth Vader bundle. I have been waiting for the SW Battlefront II successor to come out for ten years, and now I have it.
In my absolute excitement, I fully disabled the traction control and peeled out of the parking lot. Literally raced around the mall (great circuit!) and got home in record breaking time! This car was built for that exact moment in my life!

Michelin is pretty good with their warranty. You would get a pro rated credit towards it as long as you have good documentation (alignment, tire rotations, etc.) I had a tire bubble and I didn't have hazard protection on it and they still covered it for free. I filed a couple claims with them and they always took care of me.

A square setup is definitely enticing, thanks to the ability to rotate all four tires as opposed to just flipping the rears, which requires a shop. Either way, I've never had a set of summer tires last beyond 15k on the back of any of my BMWs. |

I totally cut someone off hardcore BMW style. I even got the flashing high beams and the horn!
Worth it!

Got the 2016 map updates from Baccus loaded and had them code my car to turn off the seat belt chime, roll windows down\up with the remote, etc. Had the DMTL pump replaced last week, too.

Rear seat delete! Done... 5 min work and it saves around 55-60 pounds give or take. Great option for track days and it's easily reversible for daily use.
