Lucky!
Most of ours are on the Toreador, expected to arrive at port April 17. How many days did it take for yours to get from the port to the dealer? Just curious what the turn around time is of late. |

I'm anxiously awaiting my new 128i Vert! Unfortunately, my CA hasn't been very helpful in giving me any sort of tracking. After bugging him for a bit, he's let me know that it's sitting on the dock in Bremenhaven .. but I still don't have any sort of tracking/VIN/or whatnot. He did say I'll have at least a tracking number when it's assigned a carrier.

Do you have your production order #? That's all you need to track via the 1-800# and bmwusa website. The VIN only comes in handy really to check the cargo on a ship if that shipping line even has that availability, and just helps you confirm it's actually on that particular boat.

Unfortunately not. A deposit was put down, the order was put in, and a 'it'll be 6-8 weeks' was said. Since technically it was done last Sunday (5/5), I guess I'll see if anyone else's was done at the same time and follow their thread

That stinks. Your sales person should at least give you one or the other so you can properly agonize during the wait by tracking it. Mine sent me a copy to confirm all the options, etc.
Either way, congrats. |

What Greg said, your sales person has a production number. If not him then his sales manager. My car was said to be at the port awaiting transportation last Wednesday may 8 it ended production on Friday May 3
What port is your car coming from to get to Arkansas? Looks like the next ship out of Bremerhaven to Port HUENEME, CA is Faust which should be sailing on Saturday May 18. Sure hope my car gets on You can try here if you want to check out shipping schedules http://sagaweb.2wglobal.com/AppSchedules/countryList.do |

bp - you should check out the latest photos of mine to make those last few weeks torurous! Also, know that your sales person will know much sooner than the darn 800# or online thing will show it's on a boat. Usually a 3 day lag where you think, crap, i missed the boat and get all upset, then find out, oh, I DID get on the boat. Tis a rollercoaster ride. Then takes another 3-4 days sometimes to show up on the W&W cargo list.

Greg, nice guy I am going crazy with wait waiting for the FUBAR moment.
My car is right on schedule based on what BMW of Tucson has told me. Hope to have the car by the end of June, which will be almost 12 weeks from my order date. This waiting is a lot of work..... I have checked out the pics of your car, real nice. Hope to make a meeting of the mineral grey club soon. |

I figure what's a week here or there, after I have the car I can enjoy it and all of the waiting fades away.. At least that's what I keep telling my self.
Enjoy your vacation. |

OK, did an ED and dropped the car off in Nice on June 13th. It is getting shipped to Halifax, NS. Have the VIN but can not find it on the WW site. Any tips? After getting to enjoy it for 2 weeks over there, it is killing me waiting to see her again.
Will just keep checking the Wallenius Track and Trace. Edit: Well it took 2.5 weeks for our car to get from Nice to Bremerhaven. It arrived today (July 1st at 12:50), ship is scheduled to leave port July 2nd and arrive in Halifax on July 15th. Canadians are lucky that the ship stops in Canada first! Then hopefully only a week or so for the car to get from Halifax to Ottawa!! Last edited by MightyMouseTech; 07-01-2013 at 09:39 AM.. |

Cool! is that your car in the picture game thread posing in front of the mountains? Did you get the 313 "is" wheels with yours? I'm jealous if you did! We should do an ottawa meet sometime after you take delivery. I don't see many LM Blue's in town. |

Will let you know as soon as it arrives. Maybe an Ottawa gathering can be arranged. Hopefully somebody in town has the PE exhaust and my wife can hear it and want it bad. |

My 135is is now on its SECOND ship voyage. I never was able to find out what ship it sailed on from Germany to Brunswick GA, but with my relocation to Honolulu it had to be shipped again. Currently on the Horizon Voyager enroute from Los Angeles to Honolulu. This is a container ship rather than a RoRo car carrier - hopefully my car is not sharing its shipping container with any unpleasant or damaging items!

I'll definitely be looking it over thoroughly at delivery before signing the paperwork. Hopefully there won't be any damage sustained from the long Key West to Honolulu transit. Ugh - the ship updated their ETA into Honolulu to delay it by one day. Guessing that there won't be a berth available sooner - the transit time from LA to Honolulu should be well known and predictable. Looks like the soonest I could see my car back will be Friday, more likely this weekend or early next week.
