Sorry didn't realise that your 335i had a N54 engine. The difference could be that the M cars are tuned a bit more therefore might burn more oil. Would actually like to know what are the actual differences between the 2 N54 engines. If you or someone on here knows please inform me

I thought I read somewhere that the 1M has a different part # for the turbos thus leading to speculations that they were slightly different also?
