Waiting on this car is killing me. I have ordered new cars before but for some reason, this one (pun intended) feels likes its taking forever!!!

I finally saw a one this weekend. Was beginning to think I never would.

Where in CT are you? I keep seeing a couple of 128i Verts around... then yesterday I was on the Merritt and all I saw was a blur... and the tail lights :wink:

I was in Albany, NY yesterday at Macaroni Grill and saw a silver/black 135vert in the parking lot. It looked awesome. Then I remembered I still have over a week to wait on mine...

but at least I saw a one in the wild.

Went to Saratoga for the weekend to bet on the ponies. Our hotel was in Albany (20 miles away) because hotel prices near the horse track were $400 versus $100 in Albany. Needless to say, I didn't win enough to pay for the car...

went to an "after party" fri nite by the track and then sat nite someplace in town that was really hoppin (don't remember the name). great party town!! lots to do, nice people havin fun, really love it. go up each year for the Whitney weekend.

saw lots of expensive cars in the valet park area at the spa but didn't see a one series.

Have onle seen 1 other 1er in town, and I think it was a demo. My SGM 135i was parked in my buildings garage the whole weekend. The level of expensive whips and supercars that come to town each summer is impressive.

Was the "after party" Siro's? One of my favorite places on a summer evening. Breeders Cup Challenge weekend is always a blast.

I know of one in bridgeport... they did a good job on my customer's S5. Sunlimited

BTW, did you get your car at BMW of NL? I am looking at a 135i there and I was just wondering how your customer satisfaction would rate when buying from there. I am very wary of Antonino Groupd Dealerships after having a couple of bad experiences at Mitsu and Nissan.

I got my windows tinted today at Tint Master in Hartford. They did a great job. Third car I have had done there. A gtg in the Hartford area would be great. I'm down!

im going to tint master in berlin turnpike next week. they quoted me around $285 all over for the X5.

by the way, its my 1st time to tint master. are they good?

my 135i tint was done in maryland and now my window (driver side) started to peel off...

Probably me. I think I'm the only one in town. I bought mine last March.

Tint Master is good. I had mine done at the one in Hartford. I know the owner personally. I have had 3 cars done there.
