just moving on... might throw it back into the pile and grab a nice SUV for the wife, so i can steal it on the weekends and tow. My service has been less than desirable with the 135 and i personally don't like cars i don't work on... not that I was ever dying to dive into a bmw... so i dunno, i liked it but didn't... the power and feeling was there, the looks and overall stigma of a bmw was lame (as expected lol).
I like the cars though, they are truly sweet and with the new single turbo setup, might be sweet. I might pick one up in 10 years when they are all overpriced junk like the s4's are now |

Whats up guys? I just randomly found this thread while on the e90post forum. I drive a 328xi coupe, but its nice to see some other enthusiasts on here. I am actually in Oakland quite often, graduated from PITT and my brother still goes there. My car is AW with 19" gunmetal Forgestar F14's, dropped on H&R sports, and a couple other small mods. Thinkin about comin up this weekend too.
In the e90 forums there is only me and one other guy that post a good bit from pittsburgh. We are mostly drown out by the Jersey boys (nothin against them, just not many guys from the burgh haha). We were lookin to put some meets together this summer, you guys ever do anything? I'll have to keep checkin back here to see if there is anything goin on. And I'm Drew BTW. |

Is anyone going to do that Spring driving tour organized by the Allegheny Chapter BMWCCA on Saturday April 24? It's supposed to be a 100+ mile drive thru parts south. Me and Mrs. JKP1187 were thinking about it, as long as the weather is nice.

Just checking back in....been MIA for a few months, at least. No time to check in, as I was busy getting married (round 2....last round, and loving having 2 kids now. Spent some time deciding whether to keep the 1, which is just big enough for myself, the wife, and 2 small kids for a light weekend trip. Now saving up for an SUV with a 3rd row for the wife for the trip/carpool vehicle. Getting set to enjoy my car again for the summer...
FShow, sorry to see u giving up on the 1. I actually just converted my lease into a buy, which both lowered my monthly payments and saved me excess mileage charges down the road. It also commits me to keeping my car for a long, long time, which is bad with my car ADD, but I justify with all the mods I'm gonna do when the warranty expires. I'd be interested in any meets this summer, if our wonderful rainy Pittsburgh weather cooperates... I was also wondering if anyone knows of an excellent detailer in the wexford area...I have used Blue Wave Auto Spa on McKnight in the past, but I may want someone independent with a lot of time to devote to get in the nooks and crannies of my newly child-abused car and winter-ravaged exterior to restore it to my OCD liking. I want to keep the car looking immaculate, since I've now made a long-term commitment to it. |
