The newest map is 2.02, so that is what I am running. I am using the standard Stage 1 93 octane map without the extra throttle calibrations.

The standard stage 1 93 octane map does feel improved over the previous version as well. It actually seems to have better throttle response and seems smoother overall. Still no traction in 1st and 2nd though! Haha! Great job Cobb!
Took the words right out of my mouth. I'm thrilled with the regular 2.02 93 oct map. Its lost that touchy pedal feel.

^^^ Yep, and what about numbers for the ACN tunes? What specifically is changed because of the ACN fuel quality? Boost, timing?

Just curious, what is so bad about the ACN fuel quality? Is it because of the oxygenate used in the summer fuel blend?

ok seriously this new update blew away my expectations. i ran some of the beta maps for 2.02 for the past few weeks and could not believe how smooth the released 93 oct 2.02 map is. I haven't tried the v1 or v2 maps yet but I put about 60 miles on the new base map yesterday and took a friend for a ride to see how smooth it is. You can really test how smooth the map is by watching the head of the passenger pulling hard off throttle is silky smooth, there is no spiking or touchy feel to the throttle, and the passenger looks more comfortable. I'll try to v1 and v2 this weekend...

and my butt dyno says it feels a bit stronger as well, can't wait to see a dyno of it to see if its just placebo or not

Oh Snap - downloading now.

Just an FYI since this is the latest COBB thread - uninstalled the device, went in and got 6 new injectors, HPFP and remap...no issues whatsoever. Installed again after d/l lastest firmware w/o issue.

Just awesome!

Just tried out the V2......not a fan. Definitely feels like the power comes on way to high in the RPM band for me. I am going to try the straight 202 map and see how that goes. I do like the original 93 octane map so if all else fails I will go back to that till another version comes out.

The 202 map is much better than the V2 map. Still not as punchy as the 201 map but a little smoother in it's delivery. I am gonna play with it for a while and see. I only use the 201 map for a little bit but really loved the snappiness of it.

I agree. I thought Stg1 93 IJE0S v202 Alternate Throttle v2 was supposed to be the same as Stg1 93 IJE0S v202, but with a touchier more aggressive pedal. That's not what mine does. The pedal is more sensitive with Stg1 93 IJE0S v202 Alternate Throttle v2, but it feels like there is zero boost. It's ridiculously slow. I don't see the point. I would like the v202 with a more aggressive pedal. v202 feels great once I'm I'm moving, but it currently bogs down in both 1st and second gears when launching slowly. If the pedal were a little touchier that would reduce that bog. I did't have this feeling with v201. Maybe I should just go back to v201.

Got my Cobb on friday, it's freaking amazing. I love it. I did lose my cruise control though (I figured I would, every 2009 6mt I've seen on here loses it) Hope they fix it...and soon!

I ordered one on Friday and before I did I asked a Cobb engineer about the Cruise control issue and I was assured that some beta cars had been tested with 100% results and a "fix" would be released probably with the next revision

I've been running the 202 map with the "alternate" throttle map with "faster onset" for a week now. Was on standard 201 map for the last few weeks since I've had the AP.

It definitely has a FAR more concave feeling transfer function between pedal and throttle. It does feel slightly better in terms of what feels like boost spike in the old 201 map right around 3500rpm, and takes a lot more throttle under low acceleration rates. It takes a LOT more throttle in the 5-50% throttle angle area to actually accelerate and feels like it takes increasing throttle as RPM rises to maintain acceleration compared to the standard 201 map.

I autocrossed with the old 201 map last weekend and 202 alt this weekend. They both actually seem to work similarly besides it just taking a lot more accelerator in 202alt. While 201 standard "jumpy" throttle felt a bit unsettling sometimes on the street it was actually fine on the course. Obviously it just took a different adjustment in accelerator usage. I do think the alternate throttle map is easier to launch.

I may go back to the "standard" v202 map and see how that feels now. I kinda feel the alternate maps are way too slow and the standard map (at least v201) is way too fast. Hopefully they'll eventually release Racetuner and let me take care of this myself.

Edit: Yeah and the cruise not working is really annoying. Both my autocrosses were about an hour away on the highway. :[ Glad to see they may have a fix.

went back to 201...

202 is better in terms of power delivery but 201 is much more fun.

on that note, what are you guys getting for max boost? I hit 18.5 this morning, is this normal?
