Hamann is still the most legit one in my book, after the BMWP ones of course (since it's OEM).

i like the 3D design lip because its urethane, so its not gonna crack like a CF or fiberglass front lip

IMO, if your car is a DD, CF lips are a no go. only reason i didnt get the iCarbon

true, very true but what about a DD that shows a lot? I want the car to look as good as possible for that too.

I think I just need to be a bit more careful parking is all. 2nd time I did that shit (1st was a week before I sold my 328 and cracked a painted splitter on the curb).

its not bad, but basically why try to cover up the msport one like 70% of the way (you still have those ugly black things sans fog lights) when you can just do it right and get the performance bumper?

I know the vfiber has a bigger lip on the bottom but it's not that much different and I'd rather have a gloss black or CF bottom piece anyway.

Vfiber

I personally don't like anything I have to glue or put adhesive on which alot of the lips need too aka icarbon..

I am not sure about 3D.... the splitters someone mentioned with no middle I read slowly fall off during a hot day.. just imagine that.

The Kerscher is bolted on.. the full BMW perf bumper is a no brainer..

I've never seen the Vfiber being sold anywhere.. any more information on that one?

If it's poly or plastic the lip should be "stretched" a little so its really tight on the bumper.. so no it wont "sag"

If its fiberglass or carbonfiber then it doesnt flex and wont "sag"

Oh I was referring to the adhesive... not the actual parts.. there was a post on this somewhere about the splitters that were attached to the bumper with adhesive and it started coming off or something..

I LOVE my Agency Power splitters. They have held up great so far and they are a bolt on and adhesive.

What do you use to get rid of the amber markers on the headlights?

Thanks...I like the exotics too...my weave is not the greatest but once installed no one can really tell. I got the Bimmian reflector covers painted to match the car. I'm not 100% sold on the look. I like it from the front real well but from the side sometimes it seems to me the headlight is not large enough? I know, go figure on these googly eyed headlights. ALso the tow hook is gone. I lost my tow cap, just got it back from the paint shop today along with my performance side skirts.
I DO believe the exotics bolt on and have 3m too?

You are crazy if you think the Performance bumper is
Sorry but those splitters look "tacked-on" to make the bumper look cool...would have been better with an entire lip...IMO....The performance bumper at least looks like it was made for the car which, of course, it was. As seen in the Tii concept vehicle made before the 1 series coupe was ever released.

I respectfully disagree that they look tacked on. If installed properly and lined up before bolting them on, they sit perfectly against all the body lines of the front bumper. And the one benfit splitters have over a full lip is if you break one, you can replace it. Whereas with a full lip, if you crack it, you replace the whole damn thing. I learned that the hard way on my EVO. This is the second cf lip on the car...and both were NOT cheap.

To each his own though.

Yeah definitely....we are both a bit biased though
What I meant by tacked-on is that the design of the bumper doesn't look like it was made with the splitters in mind...whereas the perf. bumper was..I mean you can tell they were added on after the fact IMO....

Tennis Todd, thanks for the info. Either one will do if they both bolt on because I'm going to have them painted jet black anyway.
I'm not a fan of the performance bumper at all. Takes away from the M look.

That's just my opinion, it's not meant to offend anyone.

Adrean your rims are sick! What kind and size are they?
