If indeed that set up is the only option, I am afraid I might opt for the refund. I must say that I appreciate you and NAM quick actions in this matter and I def will not shy away from your future products!
the external wires are a deal breaker for me

marc, can you at least show us with pictures how this new unit will install before we make decisions. you will have a lot more refunds than revisions if you just describe 1) the problem and 2) the fix with no photos. I want to see for myself before I decide.

Running wires outside of the housing creates the potential for damage to your headlights. There have been good and bad results. Just saying. I am using my stock bulbs right now.

returned for refund. willing to give lux a chance if a bulb that does not require the harness to be exposed outside is ever made again.

I just installed it for my buddy... I CHANGED MY MIND... I NOW WANT THEM AGAIN! As a guy who know a thing or two about AE... the wires are much thinner than the HIDs and no cutting require and I LOVE THE BRIGHTNESS. Just closing the lid, I was actually more comfortable with the seal (NOT MY SEAL OF COURSE) as opposed to the HIDs connection. Dont get me wrong I love the HIDs but I dislike having to use any notching or grommet, etc...
