just had 4 people in the car today for the first time and no rubs driving downtown on some terrible roads...very happy with the tire size and wheel size. 0 issues that I have experienced yet!

This may be a dumb question, but I know nothing when it comes to wheel fitment, but a lot of these wheel combinations I am seeing are on 135i. Are stock specs for strut distance / ride height / etc. the same for the 128i, making the wheels people are using with "no modifications" usable on my 128?

Hi. I plan to run 225/40/18 Michelin PSS on 8.5x18 et38 (front setup only) will it rub? The rear setup is fine because I run 9.5x18 et62 with 265/35/18 Michelin PSS. Any pic showing how close that setup with the fender? Thanks. Please help.

Need some help with VMR 710's!
I want to drop my car with the eibach pro spring kit and fit them with VMR 710's, does anyone have any experience with that? I don't want the car to rub, I know on stock suspension this would be perfectly fine, but what about dropped? these are the specs that I'm looking at, VMR V710 8.5x18in ET45 9.5x18in ET50 Kumho Ecsta LE Sport 225/35/18r 255/30/18r On my 135i by the way. |

Just put on some new BMW Style 162 wheels, and they look amazing... the only problem is that they don't fit
I'm bummed because a member here has them on his 1-er and said they are barely rubbing with 255 width at the rear... I've got a narrower rear tire and they are rubbing A LOT. I have to drive the car very gingerly to avoid it. This fiasco has also made me realize the previous owner rolled the fenders already (NOW I understand why it wasn't a CPO!). Even with the fender roll, I'm still rubbing I wish there was something else I can do, because they look flippin' fantastic, like a Hot Wheels car! front: 8 x 18 offset 34 225 40 18 rear 8.5 x 18 offset 37 245 35 18 |
