Thanks for posting the video.

I got a little worried for the two guys in front of you at 2:57.

Did you end up going to the Nurburgring on 11/15?

Yes i was on Nring. But the track day was cancelled. Ice on track. Sorry.

I hope to go in march/april.

But i have enjoyed the ride to and from the ring a lot. Nice roads and hairpins lots of fun.

I drove together with a friend with an M3 CSL.

Just for info.

We did also lots of sprints on the german autobahn. From 100 till 272 km the cars were equal fast. The csl has to be in the proper gears otherwise he loses easily on the 1M.

Advevo, that was again a delightful video to watch. One can really see the capabilties and limits of this car with a track session like that. Boy, it was real at the edge sometimes and you are reacting real quick to save it.

Now, if the Ring is months ahead and since you live in the traditionally right country (Holland if I am not wrong) we are expecting an ice drift video from you You don't need to put wood wheels/tires on your 1M just to mimic Dutch traditions, unless if you want to!

Thanks again for the video.

I really enjoy watching your videos! I can't wait for track season to start back here in the States.

I am hoping by next summer to be able to get a set of JRZ RS1 dampers for my E46 M3.

Hi Marcel, looks like a lot of fun. Where you there with a club? Who did organize this event? I wish I could be there... but with french or english instructor.

Hi

it was an European Speed Club event (check internet). We had an English speaking instructor, no problem. You just have to ask for one when booking.

cheers

Great thank you, I'm little off period, they only list wintertraining events but I'll definitely check back in spring.

A mechanic of mine has made something which sits in the original wiring loom and i have no airbag light.

I ordered a new electronic thing which sits on the passenger seat and connected it again.

Every thing works fine. Only thing is i have no side airbags in my seats.

Ok my next upgrade is underway.

First i get new JRZ shocks which can be adjusted on rebound and bump.

Next week they start with a custom made clubsport roll cage.

I have been done a lot of research on clubsport cages. Today i have made an appointment and talked everything thru.

The cage must be only at the back of the rear seats. An other thing is i don t want any welding in my car and it must be totally bolted on the car. And the other thing is the cage must be removeable to make it orginal again.

I want a real clean factory look just like the orginal 1M safety car.

More Pics will follow when it s finished.
