As I read through the document the first time, my thought was that I was reading a document written in German and then translated to English. If so, then if translation was done by a native German speaker, this might explain the typos.
BTW, the typos are not an issue for me. I understood what was being said. Quote:

BMWeber,
I read your link. I was under the impression that the system getting bad reviews was actually EPS(electric power steering), as used on the R56 Mini, Some Z4's and some euro 1 series cars. This system is fully electric, no hydraulics, just an electric motor atached to the rack or steering column. If you look at some of the pictures of the 125i cab, there is no PS reservoir at all.

Sethchan, since the new DSC function appears to be nothing more than a software application perhaps at some point it will be available via a download from your friendly BMW dealer. Here's hoping...............

Thanks. Let's keep our fingers crossed.
It's not that I drive like I'd really need that, it's more a matter of principle.

Hard to say they are delivering it from March 08 production on, when BMW Has has been delivering the E82 with the eLSD in Germany and UK already. I read that as to be in lines with the date of the document that says March 2008 right at the top of it...

I think in the end it is just a better explanation of what the E-Diff is and that all 135i will have it, since none are coming before March to the states and it is new to BMW in any model they are telling the techs as of March 2008.

Can't wait to see how all this engineering really feels!
The only technologies I don't plan to engage enthusiastically are the deformation zones....
