We're famous! Wait a second . . . how come he thanks John for the tip but doesn't credit me for the actual data sourcing and analysis?!

When I bought the car I told the dealer I was keen on whatever track days they did and never heard anything. I used to just tag along to the Barbagallo track days with my dad and bring my Audi in. Don't think they were very impressed with a hatchback overtaking people crawling their Lamborghinis around |

It is good that you don;t have it yet, that gives you time to call Damian at Final Inspection for some paint love and protection. I have said this to all Mexicans, I strongly recommend you go get some Full Metal Jacket protection on that beauty ASAP. A few of the guys on here have been and can make comment, Smiley, Ausfredy and me of course (three of my cars in the past 10 months). I stand buy Final Inspection so much so that I am shipping my 5 day old BSM 1M down there from Canberra in an enclosed transporter in the next few weeks. http://www.finalinspection.com.au/ Enjoy the new ride, 5 days in nothing mate! |

It has now been 2 days since my original post and I still do not have the car. I have been informed and promised on Wednesday that:
1) Car is in a "GOVT Bond" which has led to the delay 2) They will definately have the car by Friday (Today) Anyone here know what they mean exactly by GOVT Bond? Have emailed them this morning and sms'ed the dealer, both without reply. Quote:

Just had an update from my dealer...
Car will be another 4 weeks due to "superficial damage to either the rim or front panel which was caused by government department. Need to wait for new parts to come in from Germany" What do you think guys? BS or just unlucky? Quote:

It's possible, cars often get damaged between the factory and the dealership and the consumer is usually none the wiser.
I love how they are trying to blame in on the government! Damn that Gillard . . . first the insulation, then mining tax, now this.
