If you read the instructions you can turn the module off so it is not seen by BMW's diag. Or if you want just disconnect the module. I guess it really depends on how much your dealer wants to void your warranty.
Cool thanks for the info. I've seen splicers that actually cut the wire with a metal piece and once you've put it on, you can't take it off.

Sounds like it shouldn't be a problem though Thanks again!

I am currently using mode 2 for function 1. As the operation instructions state it uses direct programming for sunroof and windows in mode2. It works faster that way and I have not run into and issues. Appears to be compatible. Function 2 i am using mode2 as well. I like having the doors unlock when turning the car off. Now i can have the doors auto lock for safter driving and not have to pull on the door handle twice to open the doors.

Oh very good. When I placed my order it was shipped the same day (monday). took 5 business days to get to me. UPS they don't ship on the weeknds. Wish they used Fedex.
They sent me an email about an hour later with tracking info.
Good luck let me know if you need any tips during your install?

Looks strait forward, any tips on programming? I'm spoiled by the iDrive for programming i haven't had to use the blinker stocks to do any programming before.

I paid for overnight and I just called them to confirm that it will ship out today . Should have it by 3PM tomorrow.

MMM the only tip I can give is read the operations manual all the way through before attempting any programing. It took me a few re-reads to totaly understand what was being explianed about the left and right blinks and exactly what they meant.

Will do, is it the same manual you posted or does it come with one that has more detail?

This is not really news, in america we dont' have the window up option with remote key. The mod4cars module is a add on to give you that capability and some other features too

plus you have to hold the button the way BMW has it setup, this mod will allow you to just push and hold for what 2 seconds and then it goes.

Guess I will find out tomorrow but figured I would ask.

Anyone know if you hold your finger for 5 seconds on the door for comfort access does it shut the windows or will i have to continue to hold my finger like before?

Also does the side mirrors fold in if I use my finger to lock the car with comfort access?

Got mine installed, seem to have an issue with the mirrors folding in though. it will work for a little bit and then just stops the button inside my car stops working also.

I have to unplug the box and plug it back in again to get it to work.

What mode do you have it set on? 1 or 2. I don't have folding mirrors so I can't help in that area

Mirrors are set on 1 if I remember correctly. (whatever the Auto Selection is)

It is operating correctly when I lock and unlock and then just stops.

I think it has something to do with my comfort access system.

The device doesn't work when locking and unlocking from the CA.
