Hmmpf. The only 1ers I ever see are when I'm either with you guys, or the same 128i cabrio (not amybang) around Newbury/Boylston, which I see at least once a week.

That's not Rachel's car, unless she put her stock wheels back on. (though it appears to have a 1addicts sticker on the window.. so it's possible)

Damn, 3 MDX since 04? That's a lot of 'em. Ours is an 09, we switched from our 06 Pilot into the 09 MDX almost two years ago. It's quieter than the Pilot and the new Pilot was too butch for my wife, but definitely smaller. The Nav system blows, but everything else about it is great. My wife uses all 150 of the hp too (lol, she has no clue that thing has 300hp and sh-awd).

She's been talking about a sedan or a convertible for her next car, so there are alot of permutations on a 3-car garage being worked in the back o' my head, can you say 3-series convertible, MDX and a dedicated track car??

Oh yeah, saw another blue 1er on route 60 heading from Malden toward Watertown/Belmont around 1:30 this afternoon.

..as opposed to driving backwards at NHMS? Might we be missing a story or two?

3 since '05

She had an '05 old style MDX on a 3 year lease- up in '08. In '08 she got a new MDX when her lease was up. Now we turned in her '08 a little early because she was over her mileage allowance and got the 2010. We actually had about $1400 of equity in the old one that we put toward the new one in trade! Here's a quick pic and then I'll stop hijacking

more sideways than backwards....had my first spin ever! it was my instructor's first spin experience too. 45 degree temps and light rain will do that to you.

i got a late point by into turn 1. i took it but i didn't burn off quite enough speed, started closing in on the cones marking the turn in point. i lifted off the gas just a little too much and the back came right around. i probably could have saved it if i was a little quicker on the countersteer, but at least i kept it on the track and didn't stall, so it was all good.

i also gave my first point by.....to a mini! you reading this audra??

I've gotten squirrelly at turn 1 a couple of times. Usually because i'm half focused on the heal-toe shift and not braking quite hard enough.

btw, are you able to shut off DTC completely off while on the track? Every time i try to, the car goes limp. I've given up, just press the button once and go with it. The nannies kick in, but at NHMS i'd rather stay forward anyways.

Nice wheels and side steps. Are those 19"s on the '10? Do you like the 6spd tranny over the 5spd?

yeah i always run with it completely off and no codes, even with my jb3 on map 5. i did hit limp mode on my 2nd day of the glen, but that was due to my failing coilpack. and i should admit that after my spin, i turned my dtc on. i'd rather have gotten the practice controlling the car but i didn't want to risk ending my day early

Thanks! They're 18s, and yes the 6 speed is definitely superior to her old 5 speed- slightly better gas mileage, nicer ride on the highway (lower RPMs) and noticably better pick up off the line. Plus it has a "sport" mode and steering wheel paddles

So, it finally happened, I spotted another 135i. I am not officially a member of the club! This one was cruising eastbound on Route 9 in Framingham around 4:51pm -- today.

I almost got taken out today by a black 128i that crossed into my right turn lane to make a left turn. Driver had crossed well into the oncoming traffic lane a few times earlier on, too. Grrr...

Haha had I not hit the brakes, my description of the other car would have been black/montego blue 128i. :-p
