Hondarogue, drop me a PM when you are in the area. We may be able to arrange this if we do not have someone by then.

Not really. All they have to do is frame it out like all the other manufactures do. You just take the measurements of the bumper while on the car. Take bumper off and build frame to size to make the bumper that size that is was on the car.

Vorsteiner will only design the lip on the vehicle, this ensures proper fit and that it meets their requirements for quality and install. You can certainly do it off the car but this is not ideal and Vorsteiner, thankfully, is unwilling to compromise.

I could possibly loan my car out for 5 days, but it is only a few months old and I will suffer from separation anxiety ... How will a spoiler like this look without any body modifications such as side skirts?

Sorry about the delay, we forwarded your contact info to Vorsteiner but I had heard that for some reason the scheduling didn't work out. Not sure as I was not involved in arranging it. We are forwarding contact info over to Vorsteiner to arrange for this so I am sorry if they are not getting back to you. We are doing our best to make this happen, it's clearly in our interest to do so given the demand.

i hope you all know the loaning your car and having a piece molded off of it involves applying resins and glass directly to the car. not sure of their particular technique but usually it is first masked then foil or something is applied over that so the resins dont seep through the tape and doesn't bond directly to your bumper

We've done this with several other lips including the E9X M3 front lip and it does no permanent modification to the bumper. While the person lending us their car will ultimately run the lip, they can remove it and have a factory bumper in the future.

You can't possibly be comparing your splitters to a CF front LIP.

Funny cuz you made it sound like your 1er. Also funny that you were FOR testing it and now you sound like your trying to dissuade people. Lets not hijack this thread. Hmmm?

Don't care. I have a lip. Not trying to be a dick, but you can clearly see the intent of your posts. Forgive me for calling you out on it.
