I made this post in another thread so you might have already seen it. But my parents ordered a car last year around the same time. It took 3 days for their car to get from the port to the dealer in SoCal. So I'm hoping for the same. If it takes 14 days, God help me....

MPower,
14 days isn't bad. It could be worse. Ryan (hondamxracer51), Your car just rolled off the ship! The good news is the crew thoroughly tested the air bag system. |

My baby was delivered today approximately 5pm. No damage from dock workers, car carrier crashes or pirates.
Also mine arrived in port Thursday morning and delivered Wed. afternoon, so just under a week. I live about 2-2.5 hours from the port. So 7-14 days seems like a lot. My total wait from order to delivery was exactly 7 weeks. |

No problem! Just say the word and I'll pick up your car and deliver it personally. I'll even spend a week or two testing it out for you.

Oh I get it, a trick question. I bought mine at CostCo! And while I was there I got a sweet deal on a casket. So, here's the background, I'm sitting in the garage watching the game. Which is the best place to do this as the wife thinks I'm doing something constructive out in the garage if I let out a few swear words and some banging noises now and then. So, she walks in and says, "Honey the 55 gallon drum of Tide is empty and the pallet of Cheerios is almost gone." I think, CostCo Run! So, we jump into the 3/4 ton and set off to CostCo. As usual I'm standing there at the front entrance fumbling through my wallet for my CostCo card when I look in and see a brand new BMW 135i on display!!! Finally, after a few sighs and an eye roll from her, my wife pulls out her card and we get in. I'm thinking how can I get that BMW? Then an epiphany, I guide her over to the jewlery counter and say, "Honey, look there's a 16 carrot platinum ring for only 16,000 dollars!" We fill out the little piece of paper with the CostCo item number, 07456383 in case your interested, and while glowing in the wife's admiration of what a good husband I am I suggest, "Lets go over to the BMW asile and just look." Now, those who aren't married don't know what the term "lets just look" means. When your wife wants to buy something completely extravagant and over priced she says something like, "Honey lets go over to the furniture store and 'just look' at couches". What that really means is, "I'm going to buy an extravagant and impractical couch and I want you to agree so I don't feel guilty about it". So, there we are in the BMW aisle, I spy a Le Mans Blue Convertable on the top shelf and suggest to my wife, "Why don't you go over and pick out a few bottles of wine?" That always puts her in a good mood. Then I set my plan into motion. I grab three of the food ladies, who are always blocking the end of the aisles, and we set to work:
We wrestle the car off the shelf and on to the cart. With the help of the kids we push the thing to the cash registers. I'm thinking, "How am I going to get this car through the register and out the door before the wife shows up?" Right about then my wife walks up and says, "WTF?" I realize immediately that my plan was disintegrating before my eyes. To make a long story short and to finally answer your question the next week we went over to San Diego BMW and ordered it.
