Darkvader, which dealership was that at? Has anyone seen an AW or BSM 1M come into any of the vancouver dealers yet? I recently switched from AW to BSM, but am still unsure about the whole thing.

I ordered VO. Liked white, but here in Israel, every second car is white, and a white BMW... well, that's just a no-go. It's almost as bad as a black BMW.
With 340+ sunny days a year, it's probably enough to really make the colour pop. To those who've seen it: how does it compare to the Lambo orange that was THE colour on the Mercielago a few years ago? It looked AWESOME! |

I've seen the VO 1M in person at the NAIAS in Detroit back in January. While I admit it looks very stunning, it's just not my thing, not to mention it would attract too much attention...
BSM is out of the question where I live (i.e., oven hot in the summer), so AW is the no-brainer choice for me here. Besides, I've always thought AW looks the best (not just on the 1M but on all Bimmers). |

Bumping this up as the ratio at this stage is exactly equal b/w the VO and AW!!! (that is when I take my vote off from VO in favor of AW now that I saw the VO in person ) When the pole was started many moons ago, the VO was the overwhelming winner, interesting how now that the cars are actually released and people had a chance to see them in person the AW has gained momentum.
Don't know if I am in the minority camp, but frankly the VO left me a bit disappointed and wanting more seeing it in person. Looks dynamite when there is direct sunlight (or showroom light) hitting it, but anything off angle or in an overcast day (which is aplenty in my climate), it looks way too copper, dare I say brownish/reddish to ignite my senses... Either way, there is no 'wrong' color on this car.

As previously stated - beauty is in the eye of the beholder. But no matter what color you get - you probably will not see yourself coming and going
My AW will be here in about 3 weeks!!! |
