Hopefully this is just typical incompetence from BJ Autohaus?
Um, correction, its 1070 plus tax rapage. lol
I'm not exactly sure how they came up with that pricing. Not sure how things were figured out between Alpha N and BJ Autohaus. I was given the contact to Richard Han at BJ autohaus and called him. Richard said they had very little info on the aero kit and the only reason they were the Canadian distributor was coz another customer of theirs is interested in the kit.

I'm not about to get raped $450+ for no reason though. :/

Ah, balls. Hopefully someone else in Canada will step up as a distributor, or we figure out someway to buy directly?
Not a fan of BJ at all.

Yes bk, totally agree!
They had the worse guy working there representing the shop.
Arrogant, condescending, and rude know-it-all.
There's supporting your shop and crew, and there was that guy.
BJ could do no wrong according to him.

I just heard today though, that he's no longer working there.
And I hear they've really changed things around. But I don't think I'll be giving BJ another chance.

That type of attitude has been typical of Brian Jessel in any if my experiences with them over the years, and the main reason I bought my 1M elsewhere. I am not what would be a typical BJ customer though, as I am not buying for status etc. I think that they alienate a lot of regular folk who are more oriented towards the performance and craftsmanship side of a car purchase. They probably have had it easy catering to people with more money then sense, and are who are buying to make an image statement. There overpricing of "boutique" parts is right in line with the BJ status image. I just want to buy high quality car/parts at a fair price. Rant over, my apologies.

So I can see they must be held with 2screws and double sided tape? Do the screws are OEM bumper positions, or we have to drill?

hi pete,

richard here,
as i've explained to you in my last email, Alex at Alpha-N never gave me an MSRP list to go with,

and i've also given you a more reasonable pricing of $680 cdn for the fang splitters after you sent me Alex's email with his pricing for you.
We definitely don't want to be known as a rip-off shop.

I'll definitely work with you regarding the pricing on the items to give you a much more fair pricing.
I'm a very reasonable guy and an enthusiast like the rest of you

I haven't heard back from you since the last e-mail, but if you wanted to go with ordering from Alpha-N directly that's up to you.

we currently have one pair of splitters with Clear coat in stock,
if anybody wants them i'll match the pricing of buying them directly from Germany after duty, tax, shipping.

that way you won't have to deal with waiting for the item, brokerage and all those other headaches.

From what I know, the holes on the splitters sent to the US did not match the stock holes, and had to be held with double-sided tape (apparently on the Euro bumpers are in a different position).

Also, don't think AI is selling these for the moment, so not sure at this stage there is any formal US dealer here.

Alpha-N, can you chime in pls? Thx
