Any word on color changes for September?
I was thinking about the Mystic Blue, but it was being discontinued after September and replaced with Monaco Blue.
But I had thought it was going to be availible in Sept? The biggest problem is I have to wait until after Sep for the comfort access, but I wanted Mystic Blue Any one know for sure? |

I just got my monaco blue with a 30% tint on the windows. It's realy amazing. I want to drive it but totally paranoid now of idiot drivers around me! I'm sure I'll ease my anxiety!

Right, it is a special color for the UK (all euro?) M Sport models. My thought is that if the USA gets a performance package (ZHP) or something even better (335i), it would make sense to provide a distinctive color(s). I would have to see it, but if it is 'free', I think it might be my first choice, with mystic blue and arctic silver as alternates. So any hints that the USA will be getting LeMans blue might be an indicator of great things... Maybe I'm grasping at straws in the current information void.

Stressdoc, what do you prescribe for stress???
Also, this is on Edmunds.com fyi: BMW Foreshadows M Treatment for 1 and 3 Series Date Posted 07-13-2005 MUNICH, Germany — BMW is inching closer to bringing to reality scorching M versions of its 1 Series and 3 Series models. Although the existence of a 1 Series tweaked by BMW's famed M Division has been denied, the appearance of the new M Sportpacket says otherwise. The new M Sportpacket styling kit, which is being offered for the X3 off-roader in addition to the 1 Series and 3 Series, adds some aggressive visual cues to the appearance of these models. The aerodynamic kit contains special suspension settings, enhanced interior with aluminum inserts and a leather-covered steering wheel. These add-ons can be ordered with any engine, but it is not mere coincidence that BMW announced a slew of new engines parallel to this new aerokit. The European-only 1 Series can now be ordered with a 265-horsepower inline six, and there are three new powertrains for the 3 Series — a 1.8-liter inline four that makes 129 hp, a 1.8-liter inline four-cylinder diesel with 121 hp and a 3.0-liter inline-six diesel with 231 hp and 410 pound-feet of torque. What this means to you: Not much, until they bring a 1 Series to the U.S., anyway. ...................... It's not clear this is def bound for US. Even if it is, it's not clear we'll get the clear front corners. Also, I have seen a reply email from BMWNA that says there are no plans to bring the 335i to the US. Sooooooo, I guess we really know nothing concrete about the future of high performance non-M bimmers coming to the US!! |

Like cholesterols, there is good stress and bad stress. Good stress is 200+ kph on the autobahn in your new ED. Bad stress is when your anticipation of good stress is frustrated by the vogons.
I just cannot believe that BMW AG will sit back and let Audi and MB take over the sports niche in the USA. And that they are unwilling to create the diesel niche here. Look at the payoff to Toyota for taking a risk on the Prius! On a different front: any sources on the "V" series (van)? |

BMW diesel engines require cleaner fuel to burn. US diesel will meet this requirement (low sulph) in a couple of years. |

ive ordered a new sept 07 320d mpsort, and wanted to confirm the vehicle code, is for the new improved model. i have my invoice and it shows the vehicle code as "Z3TS", The only why i ask this is that ive been waiting a long time already for my car, and the dealer said he may be able to get an existing 320d (new) with the 163hp engine. i have said no to that as i want the 177hp one, but i don't know if this engine is the old one or the new one. how can i find this out? Manish
