Same answer I gave when you asked for 18 lb CSL style wheels last month. Google for 3 piece custom wheels. They will be more like 20 lbs and will cost $3000 minimum.

I don't know what you already have done, but if you aren't running the oem drilled brakes yet, that will shave 3.1lbs/corner and will allow you to achieve the same net reduction in rotating mass with a slightly heavier wheel which should allow you to find one with the styling you desire.

BMW makes drilled rotors? Are they just rotors, or other parts? I'll google, but do you happen to have more info or part numbers?

Yep, they make OEM cross drilled and slotted rotors under the "BMW Performance" line. Just rotors front/rear.

You need to factor in the distance from the center of the mass. 3.1 lbs from the rotors is negligible.

Wheels & tires are going to have a MUCH greater effect on reducing rotational mass.

forgestar f14, you can order the same offsets as the arc-8s, they are pretty light and they look good as well, plus they are inexpensive.

Inexpensive? They are over a grand each.

Yeah. Um. No.

http://www.**********s.com/Forgestar...8x10-18x11.htm

They are "spun" or Rotary Forged. The inside (hub and spokes) are essentially cast, and the "shell" if formed with discs, and during that process the cast material "re-aligns" and becomes "similar" to a shell of a forged wheel.

Boom.

The site doesn't say if they are sold as a set of four or individually. Most made-to-order wheels are a lot more than those.

Agreed, and tires the most as they are the furthest out...

For 18s they are like 1200 for a set, I have the cf5s in 19s and they were 1500. The 18s are about 17-18 pounds.

I'm tempted to go 18" front and 19" rear, but wondering why no one else has done this?!?
