Equipment for Changing Wheels?
I'm sure there's a post somewhere about what wrenches and tools are needed to change wheels. Can someone please enlighten me? thanks

you'll need
Jack torque wrench (if you want to do it correctly, torque spec is 89ft-lb) IIRC the bolts are 16 or 17mm, not sure, I just go thru my tools till I find one fits Extension for your socket or the handle of your wrench will hit the fender BEFORE you jack up the car, while the car is still on the ground, loosen the lugs with your wrench. Might need a breaker bar if idiots torqued your bolt too much |

What was said above, with the following caveats:
1) Get a breaker bar to loosen the bolts. Most torque wrenches specifically say not to use them as a breaker bar, since it can damage them. Breaker bars are cheap too. 2) Bolts are 17 mm 3) I have a 3" socket plus about an 1.5" "wiggle" adapter and the length is good 4) also consider a jack pad adapter so you don't damage the jack points. example one and example two 5) depending on how low the jack pad is, you may need some 2x4s to drive up on to get the jack in place. I usually jack up from the point just in front of the rear wheels, this allows for me to change both wheels one side while not having to move the jack. Hope this helps.

i find the easiest way is to use the center jack points to do the fronts as a pair and the rears as a pair, but that's just personal preference.
