It's worked really well for me so far. It does get loose every now and then. I keep my phone on it every time I get in the car. I can tell when I attach it if it's loose. Then I just tighten the thumb screw. Not a hug deal. Mine has never fallen out. Was worth the $20.

But I Agree. $118 is crazy for the bluetooth adapter. Ended up buying a windows tablet for 80 bucks and a $5 otg micro usb to USB adapter. Cheaper and I have a tablet!!
I think this is my plan

Hey all just want to confirm everything I need to make this happen. I have N54 G5 ISO with USB routed through the glove box.

Obviously this won't be wireless/bluetooth but: Just an OTG cable, which if I understand is a male micro-USB (to the Android) and a female USB (to the JB4's male USB cable)? Then purchase the "JB4 Mobile" app from the Play store?

Just updating in case anyone else wasn't sure. I literally bought the cheapest OTG cable off Amazon for $1 and free shipping

http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00...?ie=UTF8&psc=1

and then bought the mobile app. Seems to be working fine for reading codes; haven't logged yet though.
