You'll need an alignment after the M arms and the camber plates. So for that reason alone, there is good sense for doing the two at the same time.

You will need some spring compressors to install camber plates. I bought a cheap set off of ebay for ~$40.

Removing the front struts past the fender arch was a real pain. Next time I will just loosen the control arm bolts - to allow the strut to go lower in the the car - and clear the fender.
There were several others on this same thread that expressed ways of installing these without having to pull the entire strut outside the fender. Sway links off, pop the screws up top and slide the plates up onto the strut while still in place, then screwing them on with rotation. Seems like a few more minutes but a lot less messing around with the strut, and no spring compressors!
