I am starting my mod journey and am trying my best to stay away from the BMW tax items. Berk seems to be one of the few who don't have this. Their prices are very fair and you get a great product and helpful staff. |

Take a look at the Maddad line too. I think they have some sort of race setup that is pretty aggressive. |

I have tried catless DPs/maddad midpipes/maddad muffler delete axleback; stock DPs/maddad midpipes/maddad muffler delete axleback; and catless DPs/stock (n54) midpipes and maddad muffler delete.
Catless DPs/stock midpipes/maddad muffler delete are about the loudest I would go. Had I not bought the muffler delete, I would go catless DPs/maddad midpipes/maddad whisper. I swap out the midpipes when I go to the track, but it is essentially a straight pipe (plus resonators). Since the N55 has catless midpipes, if you plan on using catless DPs I would go the whisper exhaust. |

Yes, I have seen a video on YouTube from a member here. Try searching maddad 135i street series.

Muffler delete would be your best choice. I recently had an exhaust shop custom build me one and it sounds great. Haven't had the chance to make a video of it yet though. I would say start off with that then see if you want to add midpipes too.
