FS: 2009 135i Coupe 6MT - Crimson Red - 64k miles (GA)
SOLD. I can't believe I'm doing this, but this is my 2009 BMW 135i 6MT in Crimson Red with Beige Sensatec interior. I've owned it for almost 2 years and have had an absolute blast with it - there are VERY few cars at this price point that can match its balance of sport + luxury. It has ~64k miles on it (though that will rise ~15 miles a day for the next couple of weeks as it is my daily). I have had 0 issues with it while I've had it but it's time for me to see what the E46 M3 is all about. It has a few tasteful modifications that improve looks and power but still maintain its driveability. General: - 2009 BMW 135i, 64k miles - 6 speed manual transmission - Crimson Red exterior with Beige Sensatec interior - Lightly tinted windows - Sports Package which includes sport seats, black trim, sport steering wheel, and a few M emblems scattered throughout the cabin - Cold Weather Package with heated seats - Adaptive Xenon Headlights - Navigation (with music harddrive, although I've never used it. There is some pretty 'entertaining' music from previous owners that I'll leave for you, though) - Clean Title, 0 accidents. I am the 4th owner. I have the CARFAX and will happily send it to you if you request it. It includes the majority of the car's service history. - $17,500 - Augusta, GA Modifications: - Cobb Accessport V2. I've only run the Stage 1+ intercooler tune with 93 octane. Feel free to get a custom tune if you want more power, but I wanted to keep it safe. Car has been tuned for about 10k miles. - VRSF Dual Cone Intakes for the fun turbo noises - VRSF 5" Stepped Intercooler because the stock intercooler is a joke. Seriously, I'll send you a picture of them side by side from when I installed it. - VRSF Chargepipe with Tial Blow-off Valve because the stock charge pipe is a very common issue with these cars - Gloss Black BMW Performance Front Grilles - BMS clutch stop which helps take away some of the "dead zone" from the clutch take-up and greatly improves drivability - Race Silver APEX EC-7s in 18x8.5f/18x9.5r with 235/275 Michelin Pilot Sport AS/3s. They're in mint condition with 0 curb rash. - Exhaust flap disabled to give it some more grunt in lower RPMs. Easily reversible. I have a pile of stock parts I'll include with the sale. I no longer have the stock wheels. Recent Maintenance with receipts: - Just replaced spark plugs, ignition coils, and cabin air filter so it is ready for the new owner. (64k) - Brake fluid flushed, coolant flushed, and had it looked over by a local BMW indy last week. (64k) - Synthetic Oil changes every 5-7k. Most recent was at 62k. I have receipts for the oil changes while it has been in my ownership. A majority of the other oil changes are available on the CARFAX. - Replaced the Low Pressure Fuel Sensor at around 55k. - Windshield was replaced at 53k. - Spark plugs, alignment, cabin air filter, and general checkup at 50k from a local independent shop. - Transmission, diff, and brake flush at 45k from the previous owner. Upcoming Maintenance: - Rear tires will need to be replaced sooner rather than later, but still enough life for another few thousands miles - Front Brake Pads will be due in 4k according to the sensor - It's almost time for another set of spark plugs and ignition coils. I have them and will include them in the sale if I do not have a chance to install them before then. I'll even give you the thin-wall spark plug socket. - It could probably use a walnut blast at some point in the future as I do not think it has ever been done. - I would probably replace the water pump and thermostat in the next year if I were going to keep it. They typically go anywhere from 70k-100k but there's no good way to predict when. Overall Condition: - Car is in good shape cosmetically. With that being said, it is 7 years old and has seen plenty of highway miles. There are various small paint chips on the front bumper and a couple on the hood. - There is a VERY small bump and spot of discoloration on the passenger front bumper where a dent was repaired with PDR. - Car has never seen a track. The most spirited driving it has seen is on on-ramps. - The third brake light has 2 small cracks in it (extremely common). It still works fine so I haven't touched it. - The brakes squeal under light braking. If you bed them in it goes away for a while. Shops have confirmed that they have plenty of life left and it appears to be a common issue with the big BMW sport brakes. - The driver's seat has a small tear in the bottom cushion from a friend sitting down with a pen in his pocket. It happened the very first day I owned the car... The title is squeaky clean and was just paid off so will be in my hands in about a week. I welcome PPIs from a local shop or dealership, but I will only let serious buyers test drive it. Feel free to let me know if you have any questions. I love the car so I'm not in any rush to sell. Another bump. Replaced ignition coils and spark plugs over Memorial Day weekend so the car is ready to go for the new owner. I've had some interest but nothing concrete.
