I could just picture the marketing meeting around a conference table where this idea was thought up and how much they could make off the mark up.

Hm, as indicated, I prefer no personal name or nickname on my clothes. In my business I sometimes come across business men with their initials stitched on their shirts. If they're happy with it, then that's fine. But not really my cup of tea. For children it's OK in my book.

By the way, my screen name is just a phonetic anagram of "///M is Art". Deliberate choice right from the start. I'll keep it that way for the time being. Would be more complicated should I get myself a P-car: "Porsche is Art" = "Press Chariot" = "This Pro Races" (http://futureboy.us/lookup/nph-anagram.pl?)

Hush-hush, Dackel, don't burst his bubble that actually 739 1M's were built for the US, instead of 740.

Seriously, in the past the 6331 figure surfaced. Now they report 6309 were "built" (not "sold"), so should include test mules (and the 740 for the US ).

For example, did they include in the 6309 figure the 1M presented by (then) ///M boss Dr. Kay Segler on Aug 27, 2010: it did not feature yet the "eyebrow" which the BMW ActiveE also sports (http://www.1addicts.com/forums/showthread.php?t=424637 - http://www.bimmerfile.com/2010/08/27...w-1m-revealed/ ["There is one aspect of what you see here that will be subtly changing. I can’t say what but if you think hard I’m sure a “light will turn on” in your head."])

LoL, not bursting my bubble at all. This 740 was what BMWNA M Manager, Matt Russell called 'official' and it seems to work out OK with the registry. http://www.1addicts.com/forums/showthread.php?t=633799

In the end BMW decides what is 'official' and what vehicles they want to include in the final production numbers. 739 vs. 740? I'm not going to obsess over it. I'm sure some cars were crushed, some Press cars were never sold, etc. so if BMW says 6309 then 6309 it is then!

Way tooooooooooooo expensive for a freaking polo. It should be a free gift for BMW 1M owner as many of them has paid their car over sticker price and had deposit down way before they received their car. That a cheapt shot BMW.

My wife challenges me for the so-called "Marshmellow Test": get this polo shirt now or get something nicer from Santa Claus next month.

I have bought a couple of shirts and jackets while in Germany and have found the EU sizes to run Smaller than US. Any idea how these sizes may compare to US??
