Headlight upgrade

Whats up everybody. A friend of mine just made the mistake of purchasing the depo v2 headlights for his car but they don't work correctly because they are designed for the cars with the Halogen lights. I am starting this thread for a friend (2009 135i) because he is not on the forums. It seems like most of the headlight choices are for the 128is that didn't come with the Xenons his car has.

Question is are there any headlight upgrade options that work for these cars? Any way to get the v2's to work on the 135i? Only reason he's upgrading is because the stock driver headlight is broken and he would rather have a different look instead of just purchasing a replacement stock headlight. I've looked into the LCI headlights to try and help him out with some options but of course they are 850+ for a set.. Any help is appreciated. Thanks!

He likes them but 1350 is way too much. Thanks for the prompt response though..GLWS!

LCI headlights are probably your best option if your looking for an upgrade.

IMO, most aftermarket headlights look cheap.

You can get the depos to work, but its not worth it. There will need to be some wiring modifications and reprogramming - reprogramming that dealers and most indies cant do.

He is actually going to go with OSS design. Relatively similar price to the LCI upgrade and they give you so many options to choose from for customization. 850ish for what he wants to do.
