eta on new 135i

Just rang BMW Southbank and begged for info on when they think car will be available. The nice dealer I bought car from-salesman--has been very helpful
He expects my 135i with sat nav, comfort access, hifi professional to dock in Melbourne on 2nd October. Almost here!
After I bought it on 30th june 09.
Apparently a 10 day turnover from dock date to being mine to drive home---what a nice feeling that will be--just in time for summer!

Hopefully not raining on pickup day.

Another month to go.,....,..

Happy days! I'm guessing the next month will be one of the longest of your life though. You'll have to give us a review when it arrives (and photos of course).

You thread has just made my day, as I ordered my 135i on 19 June and haven't got much information outta my dealer so far. I was expected it late October to early November, so if early October is more realistic than I couldn't be happier.

Lets count it down together fellow 1er

I ordered mine August with the last slot of the September builds for a November delivery. No production details as yet, but geez i thought my wait was bad! Who was your dealer? Rob is a gun down there.

I ordered from Morninghton BMW on 10th August, 2009 and have a build week of week 37 (this week

) the dealer thinks early to mid NOV delivery !

I would not rely on Prix Car doing their check stuff quickly, judging with my experience. It nearly took 2 weeks for mine.

Bought mine from BMW Melbourne from Edward. Great guy, very helpful.
He also helped me sell my MX5! privately--what service.
I have no car till 135 i. I beg my wife to drop me off in x5 at times. Otherwise use my legs to walk around Malvern to and from work.

Just spoke with my dealer today to confirm ETA, she informed me that the ship will be docking Oct 04 but the past 3 shipments have been late so could be the same this time around. From landing on the docks she told me that it takes another 2-3 weeks for delivery, damn it......

So I guess I am looking at the back end of October for my car to arrive.

It's painful but I guess I've waited 11wks so far and now have another 6 or 7 to go.

plug your VIN into the cargo ID field to find what ship you are on, and where it is.

I ordered my 135i on AUg 10 as well, and unbeliveably the dealer says he cant tell me what the build week will be, he cant access that information, only that it will be in Sept, and that delivery will be mid - late November. He's obviously not trying that hard given that others seem to know when their build date is...i'm guessing mine will be this week too!

135i auto, AW, coral leather, s/roof, hi fi pro, heated seats, mirror pkg, alum pedals, iphone connectivity, ipod adapter

No put the VIN to the cargo ID. Try every box but leave the other one empty. I am pretty sure it is cargo ID.
