Feeler: Berk to produce Quad Tip Race/Street Exhaust
Hey guys, I emailed Berk Technology about the possibility of designing a quad tip exhaust (either in their race or street version) for the e82. I got a quick response from Bryan and he said if there is demand for it, they would be up for producing it!
For simplicity, I suggested they design the exhaust to fit up to a quad diffuser that's already out there such as 3D Design or iCarbon. I imagine if Berk created the exhaust it would be sold for around the $1k mark. Bryan said it would also add about 10lbs of weight. Post your comments and suggestion below and I'll direct Berk over to this thread. Thanks! |

Fucking great. Just purchased their catback sport and now you post this. Well I guess my exhaust will be up for sale if this is the case. I know I would buy it as long as their is a very attractive group buy pricing. And to be honest this system should not cost more than $100 over their existing systems. I hope this time around they get rid of the chrome tips and use a muffler that does not bass-fuck your ears with drone.

That brings the question to the rear diffuser...which one do you guys want to see this exhaust made for? All I know of right now is iCarbon and 3D Designs. The iCarbon is much cheaper. |

I don't get why you can't design a muffler delete quad exhaust. There is a logical "y" point to split the pipe just after the axle and suspesion. Use a smaller diameter pipe on the shorter driver's side and a larger on the passenger side to equal out pressure. Use Berk's muffler delete design as the overall premise......It seems pretty simple......what am I missing....You're not getting major power with any cat-back design, so let it flow for sound and looks.....just my 2c's worth..
