He cooperated like he "knew" this was going to happen when he got in an accident.
I mean he is wearing fine looking suit with sunglasses on.. wtf?

I think BMW paid him to do that. Just to prove how well E90 is built.

I am very impressed how it handled, and considering how hard the impact was and how he walked out, im impressed how safe e90 is.

glad to see that no one was hurt, including the baby.

There's a video on msnbc.com about this story...sorry I can't provide a link because it's a flash embedded video. I tried to get a screen shot, but they even have code to block the video from appearing when you hit the print screen button :mad:

Anyway, it turns out the baby was injured. Also one officer was complaining that the chase was called off by his supervisors...I had to listen over and over again to this. Why would he be mad about that? This doesn't make any sense to me. I suspect this guy's license plate was taken down. Why not let him go and find him later--have the police show up at his door unexpectedly or something?

No, they'd rather be cowboys, putting on a big specticle and assume no innocent people will be hurt. Damn it I can't believe the stupidity in this country!

I mean, what if someone got killed for crying out loud! The driver would have been at fault, but I think the police would be just as responsible for encouraging a chase. Once they get the plate number, find him later...unless of course the car is stolen. Then I don't know what they should do...

No one was injured seriously. The grandmother, mother and baby were sent to the hospital, checked out, and released.
