Aftermarket Exhaust Questions

Hi guys - I installed a meisterschaft midpipe and an aFe axleback and the car sounds great now, but it's really quiet, I'm wondering what my options are to make it louder?

I don't want to replace the downpipe so that's off the table. I was considering having a shop just cut off the resonators from the midpipe and adding a straight through pipe to connect the axleback, but I'm not sure if sound quality will get worse without the resonators.

Other option is just selling the axleback and trying a different one that is louder? The aFe axleback I have is basically a muffler delete so I'm not sure that will solve anything.

Looking for some suggestions, thanks!

I would not cut the meistershaft mids those are very expensive and well built. Only way honestly your going to get a diff sound is removing the cats or getting an n55 mid pipe that has one resonator at the bottom and cutting that off and weld on a y pipe. Switching axleback won't do anything

Sorry to seem pessimistic, but if you are interested in parting with your Meisterschaft midpipe, i would be interested. If not, where did you buy it from? Thanks.

That is not a bad point, my car is actually an n55 so I still have the stock n55 that I removed that I could use to cut and weld on a y pipe. I would probably be better off selling the meistershaft, which is unfortunate because I recently bought it from another forum member. I read that it was significantly louder than stock but I think they were comparing it to n54 mids.

The only thing I'll miss is that I seem to have gotten a mid range HP/tq bump from the meisterschaft. At first I thought I was imagining it, but it definitely seems stronger past 3500 than with the stock mids.

After reading yours and vivanapoli806 posts and thinking about it - I'm considering selling the meisterschaft, my only hesitation as far as selling to you goes is that you are in the UK and the midpipe is enormous so I'm not sure how shipping would be...
