Installing Recaro Pole Position seats

Hi, I’m looking at installing recaro pole position seats in my 1M.

I know a few people have done this and was wondering what you had to do to stop the missing seat airbags causing error codes. From what I have read so far the recommendation seems to be to get resistors from recaro. Just wanting to make sure this is still a current working option.

I still want the other airbags to operate normally as well.

I can also order an occupancy sensor for the passenger seat to eliminate that issue.

Thanks

He is a guy on the forums (based in Southern California, I believe) who does remote coding for a good price.

No need to code them out if you don't wish to.
I installed these and can go back to the oem seats easily.

Interesting. Never seen these before. How have these been working for you? I assume you need two of them, one for driver and one for passenger, correct?

Thanks for the replies ayao and tinsta. I’ll look into both options. Sorry for the slow response I’ve been a bit busy with other things.
Appreciate your help.
