IPhone 3G on IPod Connector
I have the IPod option, and the cable fits in my regular IPhone and connects. It gives the standard warning message that my phone is not an IPod, but it still connects and plays the music.
The IPhone 3G has a slightly different port on the phone. Will the BMW IPod cable still work? Anyone done this? Thanks.

My iPhone 3G works perfectly in my car using the included adapter cable. I get a message on the phone saying that the accessory (i.e. the car) wasn't designed for it and asks if I want to turn off the cell radio, but otherwise, no other warning messages.
