Sold my 1 hence I no longer need the Tune2Air. If you know this product, you know how amazing it is for the e82 and e9x platform BMWs.

The bluetooth connects using BMW specific pig-tails that come with the product. It connects to the known phone as soon as the ignition is on. You can skip songs with the steering wheel buttons. And i-Drive will also display the songs and playlists from your iPod on the screen.

I purchased this a few months ago, so essentially the product is new.

What happens when you get a call? Does it use the car mic or does the dongle have it's own mic? Does the phone need to be paired to both the car and the dongle?

Interested, just trying to understand how the phone interface works.

When you get a call, it's thru the car mics. The phone can pair to both at the same time. For instance, if you have Waze running, and playing music, it's going through the dongle/speakers. When you get a call, they stop and you are using the BMW mics.

That makes sense as long as my phone can pair independently to two devices. Thanks. I'll have to dig into my phone info and confirm that's possible.
