135 240kw, Is it coming?
Bmw have updated the 3lt Twin turbo and power has gone up to 240Kw and torque to 450, That engine will be on sale for the new 7 series, I wonder how long will it take to make it to the 135?
Engine: 3.0-litre twin-turbo in-line six-cylinder Power: 240kW at 5800rpm Torque: 450Nm at 1500-4500rpm Fuel consumption: 9.9L/100km CO2 emissions: 232g/km |

Let's hope this happens.
I wonder if it's significent that they call it the 740i, not the 735i? Could this mean we'll see a 140i? As such "upgrades" are usually just software, has anyone ever heard an explaination as to why they don't offer them to existing owners - even at a charge. If there was mechanical changes involved, that'd be a different matter. I'm pretty confident they be well rewarded with loyalty if they did offer it. |

Which begs the question. Why would you bother paying all the extra for a factory 240kW when a simple inexpensive chip-mod would do the same??
