They are saying mid to upper 40s....someone correct me if I'm wrong but that makes alot of sense since a fully loaded 330i goes for about 43-44K and coupes tend to be more than sedans.

The only thing we dont know is whether the 335 will have more standard options or just more performance. You know what I mean?? If it's just more HP, better chassis, suspension. brakes, it shouldnt be too much. I would say around $40k. If it's going to include all the standard features on the 330i AND more, then $43-44k makes sense.

Who are They? If you are referring to the many guesses floating around these boards then you might as well not waste your time. No one has any inside info on the potential pricing for the 335 coupe (or sedan). All of those people are just giving their SWAG about the price with nothing but their own hopes in mind. We’ll have a price around the time we actually see an official PR and photos.

The rear will take a bit of getting used to... it doesn't have quite as much character as the E90.

My take has always been if you can afford a BMW you better not be worried about gas. If you are worried about oil changes and gas prices you cant afford a BMW to begin with. Only those people who stretch themselves to get into a lease so they can have a BMW worry about the price of gas. Plus, the 335 turbo is supposed to have the power of an eight cylinder with the gas efficiency of a little more than a six cylinder. It may suck a little more gas than the 330 but unless you are punching it everywhere you go its not going to be a drastic difference. Just my 2 bits.

You drive an M3 AND a Range Rover...what do you have to worry about

But yeah if it doesnt suck that much more gas than the 330 then it's cool. If it's gonna be a sipping gas like crazy then screw that, im stickin with the 330. Having to refill every 3 or 4 days is ridiculous to me.

I shouldn't have written 'you' in my response as I wasn’t directing my response directly at you. I was directing it at anyone who buys a BMW and worries about how they are going to afford filling it up. It’s a common occurrence since so many people live beyond their means.

I don’t know specifics about the turbo gas mileage. I was basing my general thoughts on BMW statements around press release time. BMW noted the I6 turbo would be as powerful as a V8 with the fuel efficiency of an I6. BMW views turbos as the future of gasoline engines for the brand. Turbos will give them (like it has with MB) the performance increases with savings in cost and weight while remaining relatively fuel efficient.

Back looks heavy from the side. It is sedan with 2 doors, not coupe. Don't like it.

The only thing I don't like about the pics is the 3/4 back view. It makes the trunk look too big/long for a coupe. Overall I like the new coupe design.

I really really really like the E46 coupe/M3. Those are the most beautiful cars BMW has ever made. I woulda gotten an E46 coupe but didnt want to be outdated.
