Also, i gotta say this car is almost too fast. I don't feel like I'm going fast until I'm doing 100 or 110. I can see why some like slightly slower cars that are fun to drive. You get the rush of working the engine but don't have to be ridiculously flying past everyone else and risking a big ticket.
EDIT: forgot to mention i just got a 40% Hüper Optik tint on the sides and back.

I love that interior, super sexy! Is it as white as the pics make it seem? Or is it like a white with a lemon tint to it?

thanks! i think the color on the door panels does the best to represent lemon under normal lighting. when i'm sitting in it i don't think yellow. i think off-white. it just has that very slight tint of yellow. only in bright sun does it appear pure white. and there's so much black around ... the dash, the arm-rest, etc that it doesn't feel like you are engulfed in whiteness. there's good contrast from the driver's seat.

Joelk, thanks for the great pictures. I have jetblack with Lemon on order and up until now I was seriously thinking of changing to Terra. I'm sticking with the Lemon, it looks too hot.

I am new to this forum, in fact I am new to Forums in general. I'm going to post a question, I have no idea if I will get a reply because I really don't know what I am doing? Anyway, today I drove a 135i and fell in love with the car, I am seriously considering a purchase. What is the difference between the Jet Black and the Black Sapphire? Has anyone seen them side by side and seen which they thought was nicer? I drove a 6-speed manual in Jet Black and I really really liked the Black a lot... I just could not figure out what exactly it was about 'that particular' black color that seemed so Awesome... that, and nicer than other blacks I've seen in quite a while. It seemed to really shine and seemed really Deep as well. Also, while the six speed tranny was fun, I think I'd probably go with the Auto, can anyone comment on that decision... what is it like driving that automatic with the paddle shifters? And, is this similar to VW's DSG transmission with the dual clutches?
Thanks for now... Marty |

Jet Black is a non-metallic paint, Black Sapphire is a metallic paint (and because it's metallic it costs $475 more - welcome to German paint pricing ; -). And welcome to 1Addicts!!!

This is probably my favorite combo, more so than mine. Very classy.
For those who haven't gotten their cars yet: I do not have door handle illumination or backup side mirrors (tilting of the passenger side mirror during reverse.), because I believe they are part of the premium or power seat package. Next, my rear seat cabin light do not have the amber LEDs like the one in the front, which leads me to believe it's PP as well. I also wish BMW have the rear arm rest as standard package instead of cold package.

You can order them thru your dealer.....just ask them.
