Great... my 1st door rattle! Fixed it too... for now!

I was coasting along the highway at 110km/hr (70m/hr) and I start hearing this rattle coming from my drivers side. It gradually got worse and I was beginning to lose my patience. I opened and closed my window a few times with no luck and my passengers started commenting on how loud and annoying it was.

I ended up opening my window and (gently) banged the door panel from the outside several times in a hammer fist like motion and it seems to have gone away. I didn't use much force at all and just gave it a few thumps along the sharp line that runs along the side the car whilst cruising and now it's all quiet again. Problem solved

Let's hope it stays this way! Hope this helps someone, it's worth a shot.
